FARM WORK STOPPED. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— New York, July 24. The heat over many parts of America is intense, ranging from 105 to 114 in the shade. Farm, work is to a large extent abandoned, vegetables are at fancy prices, and the poor are living on canned goods.
