FARMERS' UNION.
[BY TKLEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, Thursday. At the New Zealand Farmers' Union Conference this afternoon rules were passed. A warm discussion followed in reference to the attitude the union should take up in regard to elections. It was finally decided to take no action in the matter at present. It was also decided to meet the delegates from the Producers' Union, to-morrow (Friday) evening, to discuss the proposals for amalgamation.
