APPOINTMENT OF SCHOOL TEACHERS.
A WELLINGTON INQUIRY. [by .telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. A long discussion took place at the meeting of the Education Board to-day with regard to certain statements" criticising the action of the Board in making appointment's of teachers made before the Salaries' Commission, and .on reports by Mr. Lee, the Board's chief inspector. Aftei a motion giving Mr. Lee notice had been withdrawn, it was decided that a full inquiry should be held into Mr. Leo's charges, and that the proceedings be open to the press. .
