Mr. Markham, late third officer of the Mararoa, has been promoted to the position of ' second on the Te ■ Anan. Mr. , Owens, r late third' officer of the-Kini, has resigned - from'-the Union Company's sendee, and left ior Sydney by the Moirawai.
