The, Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of the King, opened an international congress in London to discuss tuberculosis. Foreign Governments and the colonies were represented. ; Lord Lansdowne said the Government would facilitate the labours of the congress to the utmost. Great Britain had been passing through all the anxiety and sorrow of a prolonged war, but no war brought anything like the burden of misfortune of tuberculosis.. Lord Lester delivered a speech hopeful of the results of the congress. ■ ' .
