THE INDEMNITY. OFFICIAL STATEMENT. By Telegraph.— Association.— (Received July 23, 10.33 p.m.) London, July 23. In the House of Commons Lord Cranborne stated that the Allies in China had agreed to a basis of 4 per cent, bonds, payable to each Power concerned. ' Considerable progress had been made with regard to the revenues utilisable in connection with the bonds. . Mr. Rockhill, the American Acting" Minister, cables that amortization bonds begins in 1902, and that everything will be liquidated by 1940. ' _________ : ' J '■
