OLD AGE PENSIONS.
The magistrate had a long clay yesterday in dealing with about 99 applications for old acre pensions. Mr. King (the Deputy-Re-gistrar) appeared on behalf of the Government. Certificates for the maximum of £18 were granted to the following:—Thomas Charles Shaw, Thomas Hopkins Locke, Christina. Baxter Cowpcr, Euphemia Gall, Samuel Isaacs, Alexander Bruce. Elizabeth Rae, Ann McCormiok, Annie Mills, Mary Bridget Dowd, Jane Sanders Watt, Helen McLeod, George Wright, Mary Barber. Timothy Colbridge, Janet Power, Elizabeth Bower, Job Bali, Mary Ann Webb, Caroline Beale, Edward Toinlinson, Hannah Mann Hubbard, Eliza Smith, Mary Ann Hatfield, .Jane Trimmer, Henry Lipscombc, Susan Robinson, Mary Ann Benjiman, Mary Gourlay, Henrietta McLeod, Caroline Wells, Angus Campbell, .Agnes Cochrane, Mary Grey, Elizabeth Slater Swain, Emma Firth, AperaJ.ama Hamuera, Thomas .March, Caroline Walker, Margaret Spiers, Thomas Hudson, William Barnett, Helen Elizabeth Evans, and Mary Jane Gerrish.
