DEATH OF A CAPTAIN AT SEA
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS association.] Wellington, Thursday. Captain Richard Kelly, commander of the Shaw-Savill ship Westland, died during the passage from Liverpool, three weeks after leaving port, and was buried at sea the following day, and the vessel navigated out by Mr. Samuel, chief mate. Captain Kelly, who was 43 years oi age, had been with the company for 25 years, seven years as master of the Westland. He was also in command of the Lutterworth, Halcione, and other vessels.
