MINISTER FOR PUBLIC WORKS
[Br TEIEGRAPH.—SPECIAL REPORTER.] Poro-o-tarao, Thursday. The Minister for Public Works returned from his inspection of the Stratford light railway route to-night, and completes the inspection of the Main Trunk line to-mor-row, going over a section he did not see on his way down. He is so far well pleased with the appearance of the land on both routes. He goes on to Te Awamutu tomorrow.
