In London there are 336 places licensed for public entertainment, giving accommodation for 400,000 persons, and since 1889 the seats have been increased by 100,000.
James Fox, an ex-police-inspector, whose death has occurred at Blackburn, was formerly in the 4th Light Dragoons, and took part in the charge of the Light Brigade at 'Balaclava*.
