Mrs. J. H. Ooad, sister-in-law of Mr. Wm. Coad, of the Thames, died last night at her residence, Archhill. A gift sale and sacred concert will be held in St. Luke's Hall on Friday next. Miss Rimmer and other ( well-known musicians will take part in the evening. A number of curios in connection with heathen lands will be exhibited. The proceeds will be given to the Poona Mission. The Soddon Light Horse will parade on the Domain ground to-day, at two p.m., and not at Northoote, as advertised in Friday's Herald,
