BLENHEIM AGRICULTURAL SHOW.

[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Blenheim, Wednesday. The anticipation that there would be a record at the Agricultural and Pastoral show was fully realised in all respects. The affair was exceptionally successful, the increase in exhibits amounting to 180, and the attendance of the public being larger than ever. In sheep the merinos showed the best advance, C. Coulter and R. Corbett (both of Blenheim) dividing the principal honours. In English Leicester*, Threlkeld, Canterbury, secured the best prizes. In Border Leicesters Mr. Chaytor, Blenheim, swept' the board. In Lincoins, Overton, Canterbury, showed the champion ram, though Bishell, Blenheim, took most of the prizes. James Thomson showed excellent Romneys, and H. D. Vavasour, Blenheim, was successful in Shropshire*. The Christchurch Meat Company's prize for freezing lambs was. secured by J. March, Blenheim. The horses, especially draughts, made a fine exhibition.
