The headstone is on view at Parkinson's monumental works, Victoriastreet, and it is finished, in the firm's wellknown style. Tenders aro invited by the Auckland Racing Club for the right to supply refreshments at the various refreshment bars and for the cards. The Mercer Maori Regatta, which comprises Maori war dances and war canoe races, will take place on Saturday, December 8. Entries for races will close on the 29th inst. In our advertising columns a well-estab-lished boarding-house, with furniture, build ings, etc., situated in the best part of Rotorua, is advertised for sale.
