The following sentences have been passed on the officers of Dumbell's Bank, in the Isle of Man, for issuing false balance-sheets:—Charles Nelson, director, John Shimmon, manager at the head office, five years each; Joseph Rogers, auditor, 18 months ; William Aldred, auditor, 12 months; Harold Aldred, auditor, six months. Nelson and Shimmon also received three years for misappropriation.
