FALSE BALANCE-SHEETS.
BANK OFFICIALS SENT TO, PRISON. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. London, November 19. The following sentences have been passed on the officers of Dumbell's Bank, in the Isle of Man, for issuing false balance-sheets:—Charles Nelson, director, John Shimmon, manager at the head office, five years each; Joseph Rogers, auditor, 18 months ; William Aldred, auditor, 12 months; Harold Aldred, auditor, six months. Nelson and Shimmon also received three years for misappropriation.
