[BY TEI.BGBAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. The Commissioner of Police has raised SubInspector MacDonneJl, of Greymouth, formerly of Wellington, to the rank of inspector. Inspector MacDonneJl will remain in charge of the Greymouth district. Sergeant Black, of Christchurch, formerly of Napier, has been promoted to a, sub-inspec-torship. ____
