[IIY TELEGRAPH-.— ASSOCIATION.] CmusTciiUßCH, Tuesday. There was a large and representative gathering at Hororata yesterday, to attend the funeral of the late Lady Hall, all parts of the district being represented. The weather was cold and wet, otherwise the gathering would have been much larger. A special train left Christchurch at nine o'clock, and conveyed the remains of the deceased lady, and the relatives and a large number of friends to Coalgate station, where a large number of local residents joined, and where the procession started for Hororata Cemetery. The coffin and hearse were literary covered with wreaths, amongst them being those from t!.e Premier and Mrs. Seddon. the Canterbury Yorkshire Society, the Sunday-school children, and residents.
