VOLUNTEERING NEWS.
A PARADE of the Waikato Mounted Rifle Corps, No. 3 Company, was held at Cambridge on Saturday evening, about 36 members being in attendance. The men were put through some useful drill by Lieutenant Wallace. Captain Richardson was also present, and it was announced that tho competitions for trophies presented by Mr R Fisher, Mr. A. Deverall, and Messrs. Hailon" stem Bros., would bo held at an early date.
