OLD AGE PENSIONS.
His WonsniP Mr. 11. W. Biuiiant had a new butch of old age pension applications to deal with yesterday, numbering 28. The Court sat until after six o'clock, and then adjourned until half-past ten o'clock to-morrow morning. Mr. King represented the department. Pension certificates were awarded as follows for the full sum of £18 :-Eliza Jane Phillips. Mary Ann Hatfield, William Harnett, Edward Tomlinson, Elizabeth Salta Swain, Elizabeth Bower, Mary Ann Hurvul, Jeremiah Hurvid, Bridget Bourke, Sarah Bishop, Thomas Smith Stewart, Catherine Brimmer, Esther Phipps. William James Dalton £17 ; one whs rejected and the balance adjourned.
