A PIONEER NEW ZEALANDER.
FIFTY YEARS' EXPERIENCE. Mr. L. Morris, an old resident of Waikcrie, has given for publication some interesting experiences, in the course of which Le says:—
• It is now somo fifty years since I first camo. to Waikerio, and I havo watched tho place gradually grow into a prosperous township. My own exertions have boon well repaid, and hardship and exposuro never seemed to tell on me till two and a-lialf years ago, when I began to suffer from rheumatism, which attacked mo first in one kneo and then in the other. Sometimes tho pain was merely a dull ache, whilst at • other times it was stinging and burning. Tho muscles wero stiff, and I had not tho proper W'se of my Hogs, although under medical treatment. Noticing Dr. Williams' pink pills advertised as a euro for rheumatism, I procured some. After taking two boxes, I felt greatly improved, and continued with them until quito cured. My knees aro now as supplo as they used to bo, and I am perfectly free from pain. I know of several neighbours also who have used Dr. Williams' pink pills, and havo been cured by them." In almost every neighbourhood a similar oaso might bo heard of, for tliero is hardly a town where thero aro not somo people, onco suffering invalids, who havo been restored to health and strength by Dr. Williams' pink pills. Tho disorders they have cured include paralysis, consumption, bronchitis, rhoumalism, sciatica, impoverishment of the blood, rickets, indigestion, palpitation, all forms of female weakness and hysteria, They aro a tonic, not a purgative. While substitutes nro offered by somo few retailers, people aro learning to refuse them, for there is no record of a substitute benefiting anyone. Tho genuine aro sold by the Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free, and by chemists and storekeepers. But mind you ask 'for Dr. Williams'. Tho genuino aro never sold loose or in bottles.
