By Telegraph.—Press Association.-Copyright, Berlin, October 19. The German press is clamouring fol an immediate settlement of the Samoan question. The German Colonial Council, replying to Herr Von Bulow, Minister for Foreign Affairs, considered it would be advantageous for Germany to abandon Samoa in return for concessions elsewhere, Herr Yon Bulow differed from this view. London, October 19. Reports from Washington state that no progress has been made towards the ultimate settlement of the Samoan question.
