The Thames High School met and defeated tho St. John's College team yesterday, the score being: Tliames High School, 6 points; St, John's College, nil. The winners played a good game, and though the lighter team, appeared to work the scrums better than their opponents, and made the most of the opportunities for scoring. Mr. H. O. Craddock made an efficient referee. WAIPA RUGBY UNION. [FROM our own correspondent.] Te Awamutu, Monday. On Saturday the concluding match for the caps of the Waina Union wfc played here, between the Te Awamutu and Otorohanga Clubs, and resulted in a win for the local club by three points (a try) to nothing. _ Te Awamutu are The winners of the championship.
