WELLINGTON UNIVERSITY.
[DY TELEGRAPH -PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Saturday. A DEPUTATION from the Victoria College Council waited on the Premier this morning, and asked that the Mount Cook prison buildings, or the Girls' High School, be given as an endowment for the University buildings. Mr. Seddon said something should be, and would be, dono for the University in the matter of building accommodating, and suggested a choico from tho following:—Tinakori Road Ministerial residence the Museum, Mount Cook Prison, and the Girls' High School. Eventually it was decided to inspect these four sites with the view to making a selection.
