ACCIDENT AT THAMES WHARF.
[by TELEGRAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Friday. A mas named J. Corrigan, master of the cutter Eleanoi, met with a painful accident this morning whilst assisting to bring his vessel alongside the Goods Wharf. Corrigan, at the time, was at the winch, to wliich a rope was attached, the other end of the rope being connected with one of the wharf piles. Whilst turning the winch, Corrigan missed his hold of the handle, which flew back, and struck him a severe blow on tho chest, and rendered him unconscious. Ho was at once conveyed to the hospital, where he soon regained consciousness, and it is anticipated he will be able to be about again in a short time.
