The Union Company's steamer Kia Ora is due from East Coast ports to-morrow, and ' leaves again for the same places on Tuesday evening.The barque Cloud and brig Vision had both completed loading timber at Mangonui for Sydney, and were at anchor outside the Heads when the Clansman left on Wednesday, waiting for a favourable wind to continue their passage. Yesterday the flags of all the Vessels in harbour were at half-mast, as a token of respect to the memory of CWptain Thomas A. Fry. late master of the barque Woosung. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford arrived from Whangapoua. THE CANADIAN MAIL. A steamer supposed to be the R.M.B. Warrimoo, from Vancouver to Wellington, passed Castle Point last evening, and should arrive at Wellington early this morning. The Union Company's steamer Takapuna will leave Onehunga for New Plymouth to-day, in order to bring the Auckland portion of the mail, and is expected to return to Onehunga on Monday morning. The Takapuna will take up her usual running from Onsfcunga to New Plymouth and Wellington on Monday. THE RIMUTAKA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka has completed the discharge of her cargo from London, all the packages being landed in excellent order. The steamer took on board yesterday a large number of cases of kauri gum and bales of wool for London, and will complete her loading his morning. She leaves at noon to-day for Waitara to take in consignments of meat, dairy produce, etc., and then proceeds South to complete her loading for London. THE WESTRALIA. The Huddart-Parker steamei Westralia leaves Gisborne for Auckland to-day, and is expected to arrive to-morrow forenoon. The Westralia proceeds to Sydney on Monday afternoon. THE OMAPERE. The Union Company's steamer Omapere, Captain J. 8. Adams, arrived yesterday afternoon from Westport, Wellington, and the East Coast. Mr. Denny, the purser, reports that the steamer left Westport at 9.30 p.m. on tho 12th inst., arriving at Wellington at noon on the 14th. After discharging coal, sailed for Napier at 9.30 a.m. on the 16th, which port was reached at 7 a.m. on the 17th; sailed again the same date at 4 p.m., arriving at Gisborne at 1 a.m. on the 18{;b; left at 9.20 a.m. the same date, and arrived in harbour at 3.15 p.m. yesterday. Experienced moderate weather and north to west winds throughout the passage. The Omapero leaves at 5 p.m. to-day for East Coast ports and Wellington. THE THISTLE. Tile Union Company's steamer Omapere, which arrived from the East Coast yesterday afternoon, reports sighting a small steamer off Hick's Bay on Thursday, which was supposed to be the auxiliary schooner Thistle, bound from Auckland and Mercury Bay to Wanganui. ,- i -;, ■ ■' THE OVALAU. ; ..
