THE RIFLE TEAM FOR NEW SOUTH WALES.
[BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wangaoti, Monday. In connection with the federal test match at Sydney, Major Somerville has received a reply from the manager of the Union Steamship Company, who states that return saloon tickets, Wellington to Sydney, will be £510s. This applies to all competitors as well as the actual team. No answer has been received from the Government re the passages of the team. All volunteers who think of joining the team must practice all shooting prone, and practice firing through the Vat 300 yds. Thd latter is of the greatest importance, as no windage lines are allowed with the ladder lying down.
