PREVALENCE OF SHARKS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.-PIIESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. Fishermen ab Paraparaumu mada a haul of 2a sharks on one line, which had 450 hooka baited for schnapper. None were less bhan six feet in length, and one was a tiger shark nearly 18 feet long, which bit a piece out of a boab and made a great fight before ib was killed. The prevalence of sharks is attributed to the warm weather, and is a warning to bathers on the coasts of the colony.
