A'peculiar case was heard in the same court. A, man named B'pillaiii, an applicant) for admission to the Torpedo corps, flit charged with forging a doctor's certificate, and was committed for trial. The Private Benefit Societies' Commission left for Auckland this evening. Or. Waiters, principal of St. Patrick , ! College, leaves for Auckland to join the Taviuni for a cruise among the Islands. • Mr. John Duthie also goes in the Taviuni. Ddnidin, Friday.
