[BY. TBLEBKAPH.-PRESS iSSOOUTJOK.] Wkllingtoh, Monday. The Appeal Court opened tbi« morning before the Chief Justice, »nd Judges Edwards, Conolly, and Denniston. About a dozen members of the Bar were present. The list was revised, leaving nine case* to be heard. As none were ready to-day, the Court [adjourned till to-morrow, when Smith v. the Otago Presbyterian Church Board will probably be heard. In Chapman v. Chapman Mr. Cooper stated he had received notice that the appeal would not be prosecuted. The caae re the New Zea land Land Claimants Ordinance Act, 1851, in re Hine, was struck out, (here being no appearance of appellant. A. Pollock r. Sanders, and the Progress Gold Mining Company v. the Commissioner of Stamps were willed to thi lilt.
