Our Parua Bay correspondent records the death of Mr. J. D. H. Hurley, of Taranaki. For some time past Me. Hurley bai had charge of the cheese factory at Paparoa, but of late his health baa been the cause of much anxiety to hie friends, and in epite of all thab medical skill could do, he died on Good Friday at his residence, Paparoa. Hβ was the youngest son of Mr. Hurley, of Kaponga, Taranaki. The remaina of the deceased gentleman were brought to Whangarei deads, where they were interred on the 19th April. The Rev.
