MESSRS. BTOTER AND NOLAN'S WKEKLT REPORT. Grain, seeds, horsefeert; For a steady demand there was a sufficient supply. We quote: Maize, on wharf, 2s 8d bushel; ex ■tore, 3s; feed oats, 2s (id; seed oats, 2s 9d; bran, £315s ton; oaten chaff, £2 10s to £3 ton; ryegrass, local, 3s (id; Poverty li.iy,6s; cocksfoot, 5s 9d to 6s 6d. Cattle: Increased numbers were brought forward, and a steady demand prevailed at the previous week's value. The butchers pens at Newmarket were well filled on Tuesday, and there was a moderate muster ot dairy and store itock. At onr weekly tale of hides, iheepikins, wool, tallow, bones, etc., met ready sale under brisk competition. Hides: Prices again show an advance on all well got up lines. Cow hides are wanted and dry salted sell from 3f dto ijjd; wet, 3Jd; inferior, 2|>d to 3d; kip, 3d to 3Jd; calfskins, 41 to sd; picked ox, 7d to 'M ; extra stout, 5Jd to 6d; stont, 4sd to 4jfd; medium, 3Jd to 4d; inferior, 3d to 3|d ; stags, 2d to 3d lb. Sheepskins: Local green and country salted, large, from 3s 3d to 3s IOd ; ordinary, '29 9d to 3s: lambs, 2s 6d to 3s 4(1, full woolled up to 5s each. Tallow, 13s to 14s per cwt for good ordinary; .rough fat, |d to gd per lb. Hones, 75s per ton; ahanks, 80s to 90a per ton; tail hair, IOJd to IOJd per lb. Wool: Medium tine crossbred sold from sjd to 6d; lambs', 5(1 to 6d per lb.
