THE ADA DELROY COMPANY.

It in now some time since Auckland theatre-goers have been treated to a variety entertainment above the mediocre, and this being a class of amusement that always findrt mucked favour with the Auckland public, the advent of such a talented organisation as the Ada Delroy Company will be hailed with much pleasure. The company opens at the Opera House on Saturday evening, and will play a short fiuaeoii of seven nights only, running through the Easter holiday week. Miss Ada Delroy is recognised as one of the most graceful, charming, and vivacious little variety artistes that have been seen this aide of the line, while as a danseuse she haa few equals, her "Cobra di Capollo" dance being described us the very poetry of motion, and something to be remembered. The Senegauibian drolleries of Mr. Jama,-* Bell are highly diverting, and the musical medley melange by that gentleman and Miss Hell is brimful of brilliant humour, of a character entirely apart from the average stock-in-trade, to which the variety audience was accustomed. Madame Bell's "Somnomanoy" act creates general wonder and curiosity; while the general other members of the company, including Miss Simmon* (vocalist), Mr. Teddy Ford (comedian), and Mr. J. Bergin, are all attietes of exceptional merit in their own particular lines, and contribute to make up u programme of unusual excellence. The tariff for admission is fixed at 3s, 29, and le, and the box plan is on view at Messrs. Wildman and Lyell'e, where seats are now being rapidly booked.
