A portion" of the National League irregulars continue their operations against Valtirao, where they are besieging eight hundred Turkish troops. The remainder have advanced into Turkish territory, but the direction of the advance and its object are not known. London, April 12. In the House of Commons Mr. Curzon, Undersecretary for Foreign Aflairs, stated tliac if the Greeks did not repeat their raid into Turkish territory Turkey did not desire to regard the Kransa raid as a casm belli. He added that without loss of dignity steps might be taken which would lead to a peaceful conclusion of the difficulty between Greece and Turkey.
