The annual meeting of the Pitt street Wesleyan Orchestra was held on Wednesday evening, in the Pitt-street Wesleyan School, the president (Rev. W. J, Williams) presiding. The report of tho committee showed a successful year's work. The treasurer's report) showed a credit) balance of £2 4s lOd, after the exenditure of £5 on music and incidental expenses. Tbe music belonging to the orchestra was now valued at over £10. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year :— President, Rev, W. J. Williams; vicepresident?, 'Messrs, W.inetone, Ambury, and McMastor; conductor, Mr. W. F. Forbes leader of orchestra, Miss Millie Peak; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A, Peak; librarian, Mr. H. Nixon ; committee, MiRsE. McMaster, Meurs.R. Peak, Heath, and Rountree. The evangelistic service at the City Hall last evening was well attended. Mr. W. Brakenrig presided. An address was delivered by Dr. Hosking trom Rev. i,, 5 and 6, The. Rev. A. Peters also took part in the service, Miss Alice Rimmer rendered two sacred solos with great feeling.
