The Northern Company's steamer Clansman arrived from Taiiranga yesterday morning. She leaves for Russell, Whangaroa, iud Maugonui this evening. On Saturday night the Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from tVhaugarei, and leaves for the same place ignin to-night. Yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Waiotahi arrived from Opo tiki and Tauranga. The master reports sailing from Gisborne on the 4th instant, and after working the various ports left the Bay of Plenty. The barque EmpreM and the barquentine Waitemata have both sailed from Newcastle for this port. THE WARSHIPS. H.M.B. Lizard left Lyttelton for Auokland yesterday. The Orlando haa left Sydney for Jervis Bay for shot praotice, The Waterwitoh has returned to Sydney from Western Australia, and will await the arrival of her relief crew by the Port Arthur, due at Sydney this week. Tho Penguin is under orders for a survey' ing cruise in the Pacific, calling first at Fiji. The Tauranga has been commissioned and the Karrakatta recommissioned at Sydney with the new crews brought out from Engand by the Flora. The steamer Warrigal, of Lund's Blue Anchor line, which arrived at Adelaide on the Ist instant, brings 220 men for the Australian station. They are in charge of Lieutenant 8. C. Weigall, who was in the Penguin last commission, and who is coming out to the Waterwitoh. With him are Surgeon Bowie and Chief-engineer Taylor for the Tauranga, The men are not for any particular ship, but are to supply the deficiencies caused during the year by men going home. THE MANAPOURI. After an absence ot eome months, during which she has been engaged in the Cook Strait-Sydney service, the Union Company's steamer Manapouri, Captain John Anderson, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports at 3.10 p.m. yesterday, bringing a large number of passengers and a quantity of general cargo. Mr. Nancarrow, the purser, reports :-The Manapouri left Dunediu on the 6th inst.. and called at Lytteltou, Wellington, Napier, anil Gisborne, leaving the latter port at 2.50 p.m. on the 10th, and ariiving as above. Fine weather and mimoth seas prevailed during the trip. The Manapouri proceeds on to Sydney at 5 p.m. tomorrow. THE ROTOMAHANA. The Union Company's steamer Rotomahana is due from Sydney early this morning, and leaves for East Coast and Southern ports at eight o'clock to-night. THE UPOLU. The Union Company's steamer Upolu is now due from Tahiti and Rarotonga, and may be expected to arrive at any moment. She leaves for the Eastern Paoin'o again on Wednesday evening. THE RUAPEHU. The New Zealand ShippiuK Company's steamer Ruapehu, which loft Wellington on February 22, arrived at Plymouth on Friday {ast. Her cargo of meat is reported to be in good condition. THE CHARLES G.
