SEVERE FIGHTING IN BECHUANALAND.
A DESPERATE ENCOUNTER.
REBELS DEFEATED WITH HEAVY LOSS.
Press Association-Electric Telegraph.—Copyiight, Capetown, April 9, Further severe fighting lias taken place in Bechuimaland. A body of volunteers from Vryburg, operating against the Taungo reserve natives, who recently rose in revolt under the chief Galishave, attacked the rebels at Langeburg Range in Western Bechuanaland. The rebels, led by Galishnve, fought bravely, but lost heavily.' On the side of the volunteers Lieutenant Harris was killed, and six troopers wounded.
