LATE LICENSING ELECTION.

THE " LITTLE BILL."

The following are copies of the accounts. furnished by the Returning officers to the city municipal authorities for the late licensing election, and certain items in which are greatly exercising the minds of the City Fathers at the present juneturo, and they have only paid £50 on account, leaving the reuthining items over for further discussion :— CITY OK AUCKLAND LICENSING ELECTION. Total 10912 0 Mr. Mclennan, of Papakura, was principal deputy at the Drill-shed last December. He was accountable to me for the correct number of ballot papers, their distribution to the different deputies, and checking after the election,

For putting up and removing barrier at St. George's Hall for licensing election, 10a. The Cjty Council have paid £50 on account, and have held over the remainder of the accounts for the meeting of Council,
