THE FIRST DIVISION IN THE NEW PARLIAMENT.

Wellington, Wednesday. The division regarding suspension of Standing Orders this afternoon is nob without interest, and being the first in the now Parliament I give the names. lb will be noted that Mr. Joyce voted against tho Government, and the cuto ones at once begin to wonder if the member for Lyttelton is endeavouring to get the Opposition vote for his candidature for the Chairmanship of Committees. Mr. Taylor also voted against the Government, Tho list is as follows :-
