Waipawa, Monday. Mr. Donald Ukquiiart, inspector of railway bridges, met with a fatal accidont on

Saturday. Ho was riding on a trolly at the rear of the Onnondville ballast engine, which collided with the trolly and inflicted severo injuries on Mr. Urquhart. He was

tikon to the District Hospital, where he died. Mr. Urquhart came from Dunedin recently. Ho was married, and leaves six children,] Donkdin, Monday. Mrs. Julia fireig, 77 years of ago, died to-day from the effects of an accident which occurred three weoks age, when sho was knocked down by a horse and trap.
