THE DRUNNER MINE CASE.

Hokitika, Saturday. The coal mine case was continued to-day, Several working minors were examined as to the state of the mine both before and after the accident, The defence ha'vo practically abandoned the blown-out shot theory, and pin their faith to the explosion being caused by a sudden irruption of gas succeeding a fall. Mr. Gully holds Out hopes of the defendants' case getting pretty well finished by Monday.
