WELLINGTON SUBURBS ELECTION.

[BY KIMRAPH.-OWN CORRESPONDENT, 1 Wellington, Friday. I DMdebstand it is practically decided that Mr. A. R. Atkinson will be the Opposition candidate for the coming election. Mr. Hislop wonld have the support of the Opposition in virtue of hie priority in the field, bus that ho is regarded aa indisposed to again enter the liete. Tba time for canvass is short, and "delays are dangerous." It is said that there will be u very brisk struggle. There are no odds for either side, Mr. Charles Wilson is at a disadvantage, being a non-roeidenb. Mr. Atkinson is a very popular resident, and h»e stood his baptism of "electioneering Sre" very creditably.
