A QUESTION.

TO THE EDITOR. SIR,—I have read the letter from " Robinson Crusoe" with some interest, in which he saye that the business of the world may in future be carried on by co-operation, and reut, interest, etc., be unknown. .Without entering iuto so large a subject as the business of the world, let us take the one of railways only, and consider them. Can Mr. Tillett, or "Robinsou Crusoe," or anyone else, kindly inform us through your columns how railways in New Zealand can be built without the aid of capital, aud give us a practical idea of how to do it?—l am, etc., Englishman, Auckland, April 1,1897.
