ACCIDENT TO A MINER.
[m TELEORAPH— OWN CORRESPONDENT,] Kawakawa, Thursday. A kathkr serious accident occurred in the mino this morninu, when a miner named Emerson Lee received injuries to tho spine through the falling of a heavy prop upon him. Uo was attended by the local medical officer, and sent to the Auckland Hospital. This is tho first accident that line taken place in the mine for very many years. The company is now known as the New Bay of Islands Coal Company, All the employees are shareholders, Lee being a fairly large one.
