TELEPHONE CHARGES.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir,—l am quite in sympathy with " Subscriber" re extra rates for use of telephone, and look upon the change as a retrograde step. There are, I dare say, many like myself who only occasionally use the telephone —I frequently go two or three days without having occasion to use it once, lam willing to pay the present charges for the convenience, but cannot afford to pay more. I for one must forego the convenience nither than pay the increased charges.— 1 am, ntc, Another Subscriber.
