Lord Sheffield's ■ Elf fen have lost five wickets for 80.
The collapse of the Australians is unaccountable. The remaining five wickets (ell under half an hour, and only added 16 runs. Mold bowled splendidly, while Lilley gave a brilliant exhibition behind the wickets, Trott's score included seven fours.
For the Home team Grace and Jackson scored freely. There was a large attendance at the second .day's play. The weather was splendid, and the widkot in excellent condition. The following are the additional scores in the Australians first inning*?— , . . : . '
