AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.
Except in high-priced stocks business yesterday on the Auckland Stock Exchange was at a low ebb. Thore were buyers of Northern Steamship at 5s Oil, and there were sales in Taupiri Coals at 10a Cd, with buyers at that, and no sellers, In mining stocks there were recorded sales in Victorias at 2s M and 2s 10J, with more buyers at 2s 9d. Business Was done in, and thore was still a demand for, Queen of VVaihia and Waihi-Silvertons, Woodstockß were bought at previous day's rates and up to 265, with still a demand at 253. Kuaotunu and Coromandel stocks were neglected. Thero were sales in Kapai-Ver-mouts at 8s Od, of Invictas at sd, of Hauraki No. 2's at Is.
