Th? annual meeting of subscribers to ttif. Ot»hqhiJ PubHo Library a S held on Thursday evening, Mr. E. West in the ohair. The balance-sheet showed that the subscriptions for the year amounted to £14, the expenses to £14 Bs. At present there was about £2 in hand for the purchase of new books. Messrs. Luke, West, pay, F. Llppjatt, Hatley, Michelly, ai)d Canon Gould were elected members of the committee for tho ensuing year. On the motion of Mr. Hatley, Mr, G. K. Whitmore was re-appointed librarian and treasurer, Messrs. A, Sturges and W, Bond were elected auditors. At a meeting of committee, Mr. K. West was elected chairman. It was resolved to hold the committee meetings quarterly, on the fourth Thursdays of March, June, September, and DecemberA vote of thanks to the chairman and librarian terminated the proceedings,---[Own Correspondent. | ■
