In the second innings Taranaki put together 111 runs, A. Bayly (24) and Izard (23) being the top scorers. Tins left the visitors with 127 runs to win the match, but they only managed to make 69, Pearless (16), Broad (12), aud Curtis (10) wore the chief Bcorers.
