CHRISTCHURCH INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Chkistohurch, Thursday. At a meeting of the Industrial Association, to-night, Mr. R. C. Bishop was elected president, Mr. H. B. Kirk, who had been president for a number of years, was presented with a silver goblet aud a purse of sovereigns. The balance-sheet showed the receipts to be £2318 IDs 11, including £2083 10s sd, the proceeds of the recent exhibition. The expenditure was £102 7s 3d, leaving a credit balance of £2216 12s Bd.
