THE GUMDIGGERS UNION SPORTS.

These events are open to ,||. || comers, and the committee have endtavourdi P to meet all athletes in a very liberal inanoe, I' with regard to nomination fees. All event, f§ are straight-out entries. The Cup and Mil. flare 5s each; the Half-mile, Quarter-milt m and Hurdle Race, 2s 6d each; the Two! M mile Walk, 3s. There is also a district tug. i of-war on the programme, with £5 added II money on to a sweepstake of £2103 a team fa in the event of four teams competing.
