THE ANGLIAN.
The steamer Anglian, Captain P. Le Neveu, arrived from Sydney at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, after a passage of six days. The steamer was delayed owing to dirty weather having been met with along the ceast, the steamer being hove-to for some time, and headed away to sea. Mr. Cerutty, the purser, reports: The Anglian left Sydney at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday last, clearing the Heads at 5 p.m. Sighted the Three Kings at 4 p.m., and passed the North Cape at 11.45 p.m. on Sunday, arriving as above. Experienced moderate to fresh northerly winds and fine weather to the North Cape ; thence N.N.E. gale and thick rainy weather. The Anglian left for East Coast and Southern ports early this morning.
